Oxygen acquired a one-acre site in Minsterworth, generally regarded as one of the best villages in the county of Gloucestershire. The site is under the authority of Tewkesbury District Council and sits outside of development boundaries.

In submitting for residential planning, Oxygen was aware that the granting of consent would have been technically against planning policy. Oxygen was able to demonstrate the sustainability credentials of the proposed development and draw attention to the lack of sufficient housing supply to meet the needs of the community over the coming five-years.

The planning officer, on the basis of Oxygen’s argument, deemed the Council’s development boundaries to be ‘out of date’ and Oxygen was able to secure a consent for four luxury detached houses.
