19a King Harry Lane in St Albans was originally built by the owners of number 19 who split their land in the 1970’s. Oxygen realised that the best way to add value to the site would be to use it for a larger single property.

Oxygen acquired the site and submitted for planning permission for the development of a new build house nearly twice the size of the existing construction on the original plot of 19A. Oxygen was refused planning permission at the local level and the application was further dismissed at appeal.

Oxygen then resubmitted for planning with changes and was successful on this second attempt. The house was sold off at a profit with planning consent allowing the doubling of the built area for the site.
